The Solidarity actions around the world in the support of present crisis in Tibet.

4:30 PM at the holy site of Chaitya Bhumi, Ms. Meenatai Ambedkar, daughter in law of Dr. B. Ambedkar, President of National Buddhist Society of India and other executives expressed on behalf of their society and all the Ambedkariates Buddhists of India, their solidarity with the Tibetans and the Tibetan cause.
Deputy Speaker, Gyari Dolma while thanking them for their support, she requested for their continued support till the issue of Tibet is resolved. 
Later, a delegation paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi at Mani Bhavan. A historical monument of Gandhi from where the Satyagrah movement was initiated. The delegation also paid tribute to the great Indian fighters at August Kranti Maidan, the land mark for the “Quit India Movement”. 
The three-day mass movement at Mumbai was concluded with a mass candle light vigil around the Ashoka pillar at Chaitya Bhumi.  
The 3 day long program organized by Tibetan Solidarity Committee, Mumbai concluded successfully with lots of media coverage, support from various people and received maximum awareness of the Tibetan issue inside Tibet.

BRIEF ACCOUNT OF DHARAMSALA ACTIVITIES:

1. 14th April 2008: Between 150-200 people gathered at Lhabsoeri for sangsol.

2. Relay hunger strike continued.

3. Private office organized special prayers where around 450 monks recite Chenresig Jigten Wangchuk from 7 – 11:30 am.

4. In the evening around 3000 people participated in the candle light peace procession.

5. Continued to offer thousand butter lamps for all those who died in the recent killings in Tibet.

6. Around fifty nuns from Dolmaling nunnery offered special prayers on completing the fifth week since the protest broke out in Tibet against the Chinese regime where many Tibetans died.
