Another 20 police joined them later and stopped the nuns getting out of the Gonpa gate. Through Gyalphag's main leader's instruction conveyed by Delthue Thinley la, the nuns were allowed to stay in their Gonpa and recite Dolma and other Mantras. Dharamsala -

Sangsol and mass prayer at main temple (Tsuklakhang) is an everyday feature in Dharamsala.

At 6.30p.m. March 26, 2008, a crowd of approximately 2000 Tibetans from all walks of life and some foreigners observed candle light vigil from Mcleod to Lhagyal-Riand. They finally gathered at the main temple where 1 minute of silence was observed to pay respect for all those who lost their lives in recent peaceful demonstrations across Tibet and offered prayers for a speedy solution of Tibet Crisis.

Mrs. Dolma Tsering, a member of parliament in exile addressed the gathering on the most recent happenings both inside and outside Tibet. She also stressed the need to focus all our activities addressing the most urgent need of Tibetans inside Tibet.

All the participants had black band tied on their forehead as a mark of protest against brutal crackdown of peaceful demonstrations in Tibet by the PRC. Above activity was organized by Regional Tibetan Women's Association, Dharamsala. RTWA President Mrs. Kalsang Yudon along with all members was present during the activity.
